Triana-Arnold-James

My name is Triana, and I am a veteran who served over 20 years in the US Army Active Duty and Reserves. More than 30 years ago, I signed that dotted line stating that I would support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I found camaraderie in my determination to be a part of something bigger than myself. After wearing the wrong boots for years, among other issues, I developed and was diagnosed with Restless Leg Syndrome. RLS is a condition that causes a powerful urge to move the legs and sharp, striking pain. The urge to move is usually caused by an uncomfortable crawling feeling in the legs. It typically happens in the evening or at night when sitting or lying down, disrupting my sleep. For years, I did everything my primary care doctor advised, including taking medicine, attending physical therapy, and using different creams. I finally found a cream that works but only helps with temporary relief. Now, with the help of medical cannabis, my quality of life has improved, and I am seeing relief from pain and better sleep. I particularly enjoy the S2 Soft Squares. I have been able to function the next day, and medical cannabis deserves the credit. I have been on several medications, and very few have helped. I am glad that medical cannabis is legal and accessible so that I and many soldiers can get the relief needed. I am a mother to 12 and grandmother to 4, a business owner, and a community advocate, and being in constant pain is not an option. Medical cannabis is helping me to be there for my family and my community.
